1898 Barber Dime - Die Chip or misplaced date?

    I'm torn on this one. It almost looks like a die chip, and possibly a early stage of the chip found in RPD-003 (I say this because of the location of the chip - personally I cannot see a RPD on #003). But, that curve is going the wrong direction to be the chip found in 003 IMO. Thoughts?
