    The mintmark isn't even in the correct position.

    The two known dies are both centered below the tail.

    Are you sure about that? Every one I've seen, and the ones I checked on Heritage, show the mint mark to the right of the tail, and between the R and D. Having said that, the coin pictured here is all wrong in every way.

    Look harder at the placement fun the mint Mark. It’s not between the R and D, but above the D.

    Yes, between the R and D for sure. I just haven't seen one where the mint mark was centered below the tail. All I've ever seen are to the right side of the tail, as we look at it.
