image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg On the back side of the coin I was looking for a letter stamp. There is no letter above the "D O", but I found a "O" below the first L in "DOLLAR". Can anyone recognize what this is or give me some insight to what it could be? Thanks very much

I don't believe that is an "O" below the "L". My guess is that it is just a fluke in the grime.

The fact that there is no mintmark means that it was struck at the Philadelphia Mint.

This coin has been damaged. It shows evidence of polishing on the obverse, and there is a hit on the rim near 10 o'clock.
