    Ooo, nice! I really would like a super gin marked one for my type set. Mine are average at best. I do like all Japanese coins, but the one yens are stellar.

    Here are some of my favorites, especially the chopped one!

    That is a 65+. I love these things. The chopped one was the first one I ever bought. The toned 1 yen is a bit darker than I usually like but that one hit the colors so nicely.

    Some of the stamps in the chopped one are really cool. I particularly like the little cartouche looking one.

    I figured that Yen was Gem or better, its pretty clear of marks. A wonderful coin! As always, you have great taste! I like the toning on other coin, while dark, I bet its quite attractive in hand.

    I have an 1896 Osaka mint, only VF but with Chinese chop marks. Anyone know if they're worth any premium?

    It would probably have a small premium, but not huge. It also has a scratch so would likely be a details coin, even outside of the chopmarks.
