1893 Indian Head Cent - What Sort of Doubling Is This?

    A second look I almost believe it was tooled as well as a chemical applied to the surfaces.

    My first thought was it's Longacre doubling. That lasted for about one second.

    The coin has somewhat of a chemical-washed look to it. Whatever those shadows are, I'm confident they're not from the strike.
