    1893 indian cent double strike : first apx 7% offcenter brockage : second strike on. just wondering what it may be worth.

    Get it authenticated by NGC or PCGS and someone would easily put out $400+ for it.

    I agree...it looks like there is a reverse image which would be a vice job. So, I'm going to say PMD.

    Not a Mint Error.. Just alteration after it left the Mint.

    Based on what I can make out the coin has been damaged after it left the Mint. Clearer photos of both sides taken directly overhead would help.

    It's actually at my moms in my dad's coin collection at this point. Your not seriously considering a vise job ?? Look at the planchet pressed by another stuck coin. And then restruck. No vise here. Too many details show it. Sorry no more pics avaliable at this time. I appologise if my pics are misleading. I will post more asap with detail. Guaranteed 1 of a kind mint error. No stranger to intelect. Have been cut short yet learned along the way.
