I learned the hard way. Translated, in large part, the expensive way. You can't win. Case in point, when I finally gave it up, I figured I'll just make mind bets. I picked more winners that way than when I was betting my money. But I still lost, because when you're picking winners, and you don't have any money on them, that makes you lose your mind. Lol, you can't win for anything. And that's the truth. Bet on what you know. I finally figured it out. Now I'm just addicted to coins, this is my only addiction.
Thanks for the reply Derry! I plan on sending it to Coneca for validation. I'm pretty stoked about it too. Everyone has been very helpful and I learned a few things as well. Again, thanks to everyone for your help on this! Trust me, I'll be back with more questions......
Lets revive this string. Only because I came across an 1893 S/S Barber coin. I have photos of the coin but cannot figure out how to post them up. Any help?
You click on Upload file, (from a PC) click on the file, click on full size, click post. If you are on a phone, I have no idea. I am the only person who has never had a cell phone. Probably a similar scenario.
I have never owned a cell phone either. . But I do have one only because my boss like to be able to get in touch with me when at work. (he pays the bill ) Anyway, I cannot see the Upload file link anywhere. Is it because I'm brand new to this forum?
OK, I'm authorized to post pictures!! here is the promised pics on my 183 S/S Barber dime. What do y'all think? Is it an RPM or am I just seeing things?
It's hard to say from your pic's but if I were to guess, I would say no. I looked at my 93-S and the MM is very plump, like yours. I'm gonna guess your MM took a hit or is circulation-worn, but I don't see any evidence of RPM. Somebody else will know more.
Oh BTW, welcome to CT! You should always start your own thread and please post full pictures, not thumbnails.
