This penny has stumped me since i found it. Someone in the past obviously made a necklace out of it, which is a shame. I have many Indian head pennies, but only this one doesn't have "ONE CENT" on the reverse. I have researched multiple times and can't seem to find anything like it. PLEASE HELP!!!

Need better focused photos and a close up of reverse to tell anything.

The missing ONE CENT is due to either damage or wear. Very likely it was related to when it was on the charm or necklace. Sorry, nothing special

Not really. Still out of focus. Best guess is someone was going to engrave on the reverse and never got around to it.

As Mountain Man says. Probably polished down to make for a "love token".

You can't have all those other details and not have ONE CENT.
Not a grease filled die error. Someone ground it off intentionally.
Plus the filled in hole. This coin is severely damaged
and not worth more than Indian Head cull price. (a quarter)
