[QUOTE="oz_in_ohio, post: 2843512, member: 89534"]There you go...I am 60..... I do like all sorts of philatelics and numismatics as they are better than women...The reason why is that they ( coins, stamps, banknotes , medallions etc ) appreciate with age, dont answer back .... With the picture of the 1919 victory WW1 era medal i have as a logo, those were given out to school students for the victory of WW1 in 1919 but not many were kept. As they are not silver, most were thrown away....Over the years it is due to the availability that makes them saleable. On top of that, they fall under a catagory valled militaria so it has a few strings to the bow....School students use them for school projects and my normal price is about 25.00 complete with ribbon.... When you look at ebay auction # 142495523239...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/WW1-VICTORY-PEACE-MEDAL-1919-/142495523239?hash=item212d6521a7:g:vPQAAOSw4HxZnhJe

notice the loop is broken off the top and they are asking just about the price i ask for a perfect one WITH RIBBON!!!
