I have an 1891 Morgan dollar with the mint mark of CC. It is not graded and not in that great of condition (see pictures attached). How much do you think it is worth, if anything? I'm clueless but someone said if it has CC then it is worth more. Would ebay be the best way to sell this one?
In the dream world that is PCGS price guide it is worth more than $115. It is hard to verify detail level based on the pictures. PCGS price guide is always too high. It only gives you a rough idea of worth. Also a coin is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. (not trying to be a smart a$$)
Too Too right. Lately, I have been focusing my efforts elsewheer than Morgans. I do bid on them on the E, but hardly ever more than Melt. Also remember, there are alwasy folks tryign to complete a mintmark or a date/mintmark collection and depending on where they are in their collections, may pay slightly or even drastically more than book value for a coin.
