1891 CC Morgan Grade Input

    Just picked this up as part of a small collection. I'd peg it at 15 but could see it as VF20. Any thoughts?

    I think the "spitting eagle" VAM die chip rules out or limits the possibility of it being fake. What concerns you?

    Saw that but the porosity is throwing me I think
    Whats this thing weigh ??

    I think it's more an F-12. Certainly not fake.

    The damage on the rim might limit it to a "Details" grade. ~ Chris

    The Chinese are making die-transfer fakes that capture the diagnostics of genuine varieties. Don’t assume it is genuine if it matches a variety.

    I see staining and possibly some corrosion. Looks genuine to me
