They are from a famous hoard firstly, but this famous hoard was known to have been stored in bags for many years. Hence it is also known that GSA coins tend to be bag marked. The other BU coins which we see frequently are known to have been stored in bags for years but there is really no way to determine which one was and which one wasn&#039;t.
