1888 Morgan MS67/with Question

    I think, for the most part, that is why the majority of experienced collectors do as well.

    Newbies to the hobby, unfortunately, have to learn the hard way, but then again, that's how we gain experience.

    Not always. Sometimes people submit them without requesting or paying for the variety service, and it is overlooked. Whenever you're at a show, it isn't a bad idea to take a quick look at the reverses of any NGC or PCGS 79-S slabs. Sometimes, you can cherrypick the PAF's.

    Stop buying coins in third world slabs. You will only get ripped off if you can't grade them yourself, in-hand!​

    Never gonna be a time when the reverse out weighs the obv. The obv alone on that coin is enough to hold it back. Ya gotta remember, the early S mint Morgans were the finest of the entire series, commonly found in very nice condition and high grades. So they are always graded tougher than any others in the series.
