You are the one that mentioned a term Deteriorated doubled die so you are the culprit not me. I think you are fooling around The opposite way around. Round 6 I will be going to another thread I want to see what other coins have die deteriorating doubling like yours or similar Kiss JCKiss
To answer your question I don't know for sure I didn't do much research on it. I now for sure this is not a doubled die do you agree with me on that? The main interest for ths op was, if it was a DDR ,and that was my concern not what vam it is JC
I'm no where near an error expert, so I cant attest to what type of doubling it is, but what I can say is it has some form of doubling. Plus everything else matches up perfectly it has the correct reverse, the missing nose, broken star, plus the doubling. So I believe this is the VAM190.
I no alot about the doubling but 'm pretty sure you know more about the vam thing this is not a doubled die to me the images are distorted there;s doubling on both sides of the letters which to me is a clear indication of a different form of doubling MD or Die deterioration doubling I think possible both on the Op's coin I'm not the only one that thinks this so does Treashunt and he knowa alot about doubled dies and different forms of doubling Thanks Joe
This does look like the VAM 190, but does not look like a DDR to me. It looks like die deterioration doubling to me. Here is a site with a bunch of pictures of the different types doubling. http://koinpro.tripod.com/Articles/OtherFormsOfDoubling.htm It looks a lot like this if you ask me:
