    Probably not too much more over spot. There are hairlines in front of liberty's face suggesting a harsh cleaning at least in that area. It would never straight grade.

    Common date and MM, was still decent MS until someone took an eraser to it. Definitely a few times better than spot, so no worries;)

    wonder if there is a way to clean that smudge looks like the patina been smeerd to me?

    If you bought it for spot you did well. Morgans typically sell for quite a bit of a premium above spot even for culls. I'm curious, I have a feeling that the hairlines people are seeing are probably on the coin, but is there a chance that they are on mylar of the 2x2? I'm asking because I have seen 2x2's with hairlines on the mylar and not actually on the coin. It's kinda weird, but it's also one of the reasons a lot of us ask you to shoot the coin out of the holder.
