After posting this coin in the new acquisitions forum I have taken an even closer look at it and cannot determine if it has been improperly cleaned or not. There's plenty of 'crud' clinging to the devices but it otherwise doesn't seem like a cleaned coin to me. There is also some strange toning. Anyhow...I'd love some folks input. It is a fairly rare coin and has a decent value (at least according to the NGC site). I'd put the grade at XF. Would appreciate thoughts on that too. Thanks!
