Any ideas of a VAM for this Morgan graded MS-64 by PCGS

First thing I notice are lines coming off the bottoms of the date and some stars closer to the date. I'm guessing deteriorating die

I also notice something inside the the left on the top loop of the first 8 in the date. Could be a contact mark though.

I also notice what could be doubling on liberty's cap, not sure though, it could be the photo's lighting and angle though.

I do not see anything much on the reverse but here are photos in case someone knows more than me sees anything that would help

I'm gonna say VAM-9. It has the spiked 8 with the doubled cap.

Thanks, I think that the obverse matches up. VAM-38 shares an obverse die with VAM-9 and on my coin the "S" looks to be in same position as VAM-38.

I see the light doubling in the "8"s in the date which VAM-9 has on the obverse.

    Thanks for the help,
