They are both better dates and beautiful in their own right. The 1881 is very nice and has one of the cleanest reverses I’ve seen on a mint hoard Morgan. Almost no bag chatter. The 1885 is built a little different. I think it’s a clear candidate for a DMPL designation. Under a loupe the surfaces are mirrors. I would love to know folks thoughts on grade. It’s tough to photograph such coins well given that they are encased.
