    After seeing your more recent photos, I think I might just like the reverse better than the obverse . . . sorry, but that's not a good thing.

    very helpful thread in terms of understanding coin photos. First set of pics showed unusually bright surfaces without much apparent wear on the high points, second set shows how the luster was disrupted by the cleaning.

    Yeah, I was having a hard time seeing the cleaning in the first photos as well.
