Cool. Yeah, I've noticed that too, lol. I do not try to change the hobby, or like to get special attention, but I do like to be a little different. I read about the ABC thing in a book (yep, took your advice, and I thank you much for it. :thumb: ), and I read about how the TPGs use ABC to help grade coins. I thought that was interesting, and I've never heard of that before. So I thought I would try it out. Seems like a stepped on a few toes, lol. But I thought it was pretty neat, and different. Atleast to me. Honestly, I think they fill a few holes personally. Like, no one coin is the same. There are many MS-64 coins that are better looking than others. But, they are just labeled, 64.

I think ABC helps narrow it down even more, and helps a bit too. Like a 64 coin that is just not enough a 65, but is a gorgeuos example, gets put in there with the the coin that barely grades a 64. I think if a coin is really superb, I think it should be labeled as such IMO. NGC has done similiar to that with the * desognation, but I personally feel there are a few more holes that aren't really filled yet.

Don't get me wrong at all, I think that the grading system is great. But there can always be a little tweaking IMO every now and then. So, to some it up and answer the question "Why do I do it?" Because it was something new, and I like to give everything a bit of a chance. So, come and get me, I've borrowed Arizona Jack's flame suit, and I'm ready for it.

Phoenix
