    Happ Mother's Day!
I need help on this 1880 O Morgan which appears to have a partial collar strike..I think. But what would cause the doubling on reverse lettering and arrow feathers?
    Thanks again 20210509_091334.jpg 20210509_091358.jpg Image_2021-05-09 09_26_37_905.JPG Image_2021-05-09 09_24_25_603.JPG Image_2021-05-09 06_58_07_184.JPG Image_2021-05-09 09_27_44_139.JPG

I forgot to add if misaligned would also be the cause...sorry.

The doubling looks like die deterioration to me.

The cause of what? That's just strike doubling showing on that coin. The planchet wasn't held real snug when it was struck. Most coins show that somewhere at that level of magnification.
