also im not planning to sell it im just wondering..on a bunch of websites for the coin and that condition is like 30 - 40$

No, it's worth more than that. In that condition, they are worth their melt value (which is currently $22.08). But, if you were going to sell it to a dealer...he would have to make a profit so he would give you a little bit less. They would probably give you something like $2.50 under the melt value.

In a bit higher grade, the 1880 would fetch that $30-$40.
