Zero! I never guess the value of a coin without at least seeing photos of it. Judging from your other posts, you really need to learn more about the coins that you want to buy. You should start by learning about grading. If you want to buy something, you might begin by acquiring the American Numismatic Association Grading Standards for United States Coins. Chris
I only said "Zero" because you didn't post the photos with your original post. Have you checked the Heritage archives for completed auction prices? Chris
First you plug the cert # in at pcgs verification page then mouse over to coinfacts to see the completed sales for the grade. Then you need to bookmark Blu62vette's website and check it regularly if you cant find one you like
Bookmark this page, and have it open whenever you're shopping: http://www.pcgs.com/auctionprices/ Right now, for some stupid reason, it's only returning 5 VAM-11 results for 1878-CC (you're familiar with VAMs, right? ) instead of the 9700 records it should be. The Heritage Archives are here: http://coins.ha.com/heritage-auctio...es-realized.s?ic=Worth-AuctionArchives-071713
There's nothing wrong with impulsiveness in coin purchases. I'd be in deep doo-doo if that weren't true; I don't remember the last coin purchase I actually planned. You just need it to be informed impulsiveness.
