So sorry about your dad... so important to treasure the moments together.

That is the kind of gift that would be nice to keep, document that you received it from your dad and pass it along to your family or loved one some day as a legacy of your dad. Best wishes.

I’m at MS 61 on the coin.

Nice coin. Maybe a MS 61, Sorry about your father. I didn't know much about my father's coin collection until he died. My brother and I was in the will and he about about 20 Morgans in great shape. What a surprise!

I have two in very similar condition in GSA holders. Sent it off to NGC. Came back 63. Now, do you need a sibling? I could use some free coins too. lol

Sorry to hear about your father. Prayers to both of you.

Funny you ask. I'm actually in the process of paying off another 78 cc GSA. If you still have it next month I'll pm you.

I think I confused you. I'm not ready to sell, yet. Maybe 5-10 years out, unless my stocks decide to go wildly high. I'm still trying to complete a Morgan set. I'm missing 7 examples of the circulation strikes to complete the set. All the "hard to find" or "nose bleed priced" suspects.

I was asking if you needed a brother to help you share the coins. A poor attempt at humor but I'm willing to be adopted...

    Happy collecting.

She got the works when she was in that bag. 62 if I'm buying, 63 if I'm selling. Some nice cracks on reverse.

I found out it's a VAM 2a. Die chip on nostril.

I saw the cracks along the reverse lettering at the top. All in all it's a nicely-struck coin, I think, it just got worked over something bad in that bag. :(

PS: I'm curious, does the GSA holder say "Uncirculated?"

    My first thought as well.

I'm at 61ish but 62 would seem plausible since it's a GSA CC.

MS 60 is the best I grade this coin. There are way to many bag marks to grade it any higher.

I’d give it a 62. Bag marks are typical features of GSAs.
