I'm thinking this is the 7 feathers, 2nd reverse variety but am unsure if I'm attributing it correctly. Looking for a second opinion. When the Redbook & Cherrypicker's guide refer to "parallel top tail feather" are they referring to the fletching on the arrow? I can't wrap my eyes around the concave vs convex eagle's chest - does this match the description of concave (which the 2nd reverse should also be)?
Yes, that's the 7 feather, second reverse, aka reverse of 1878. and yes, they are referring to the arrow fletching, from late 1878 on, the top arrow fletch runs at an angle to the others.
