1877 S Trade dollar Legit?

The strike is too pronounced, Passed the ping test and Magnet test. What do you think? Is this legit?

Type II obverse and reverse; nice, clear devices; dentils look clean and uniform all around. (They look a little soft at the top of the reverse, but I think that's a focus issue).

I'm no Trade Dollar expert, but it looks solid to me. Still, weigh it and check the thickness.

 

It weights right on my cheap Chinese scale.

I'm no expert, but it looks kosher to me. The details are sharp and not mushy like on most fakes. The star points are sharp and well struck, which is one of the first things I would look at. I think you have a winner.

I think she spelled her first name "Mae"

 

I'm sure at some point she must have said "I'm Mae. You may."

 

Right as rain. Crushed strike on that one. Xf 45 details and still residual luster on it. Beautiful surfaces. Just graffitied

 

I’d try an acetone soak overnight too see if that black crap comes off
