Went fishing on the bay tonight and reeled this in... Got some obverse rim dings at 12 o'clock unfortunately but still a nice looking coin. What do ya'll think?
An old dip and retone but I don't think it's artificial. Many dipped coins retone faster and if kept in a cardboard album or holder the result is often like this
The surfaces appear quite rough. I would be concerned that those pictures are hiding more damage, or harsh cleaning. Hope it turns out well when you get it.
