    I'm fairly certain that this coin is not a proof. A proof would have a sharp, crisp strike. It should also have square rims. Your coin has neither.

    It looks like it has been polished.

    I guess because I got my answers.
    Seems that when you post a question here. You get several responses? And then a bunch more. Just echoing what the first three or four have said.

    If you received one answer it doesn't mean that member is correct. If you receive numerous answers and they all basically agree then be assured we are correct. It's a great lest to learn and to reinforce what's really happening.

    And you can't delete posts here. You can delete the content but the post lives on. And there is usually no reason to delete the content as often other luckers or members can learn from your question as well.
