1874 Seated Liberty Dime Help

    I bought this in a oversea auction and don't expect to have possession of it for a couple of weeks so the pics are from the seller. Could this be a die clash? Thanks for any help. s-l1600.jpg

    On the reverse? Looks to be post mint damage.....the UK as well as the rest of Europe used coins as such as jewelry. Have you ever seen enamelled coins?
    Notice I spelled enamelled with 2 L 's not 1 as it is the English spelling like harbour as to harbor.
    As if you go on eBay using the English spelling you'll find more examples.
    But no clash by my eyes.

    Sorry, post mint damage. A die clash will often show a ghosted image of the opposite side, usually in the fields.
