Hello Everyone I got what I beleive to be is a indian head penny that was a major mint error the patina in the marks on the coin matches the overall patina on the coin. Any ideas of value on this coin I really could use extra cash since it is that time of the year. Thank Everyone in advance

Just a normal, heavily circulated cent with some post mint damage.

Looks like it took a real hard hit on the reverse which has caused the bulge on the obverse. Time and wear has smoothed out all the edges

IMO, the coin is well worn, has post mint damage (PMD) and is a hole filler. No significant value, a couple of bucks and not a mint error.

A mis-aligned die coin would look like an off-center strike on one side and totally normal on the other. Although your coin is very worn, I can see a pretty full rim all the way around except for the wear. Welcome to CT

The gouge is PMD...but I like the 90 degree die rotation. :)
