I have a 1873 U.S. quarter minted in Carson City, Nevada. Its in pretty good condition. Wondering if any one knows if its worth anything.

If it is a real (not counterfit) 1873-CC quarter than it is quite valuable in any grade. We would need pictures to tell you the value for sure, but according to redbook it is worth a couple thousand dollars in lower grades (I assume it has arrows near the date).

Being that an 1873-CC is one of the rarer in the series, I'm sure there are many counterfits out there so you should be aware of that. Most people here can spot a counterfit from a good photo and if they think it looks good, the coin should probably be authenticated and graded (at least I would have that done).
