1873&1877 trade dollars

I'm seeing both coins as the same Type Ones obverse and reverse....

Duh. I spaced that one. Was looking at the wrong pic.

 

Trade dollars are one of those coins that should be purchased graded and slabbed unless you have expertise in them. Lots of fakes bouncing around.

 

Those are really poor quality fakes. I completely agree with Santinidollar.

 

Yeah. If you don't know what you're doing never purchase a raw trade dollar. That being said I've bought a lot of them and every one has been sent off to pcgs. And all graded genuine

 

I don't think that is luck...aren't you considered one of the Trade dollar experts on CT - with knowledge far above most of us?
