I think if more members of the hobby were more aware of some of the things that the "big" tpgs do, they would not be so in love with them. I bought several way overgraded NGC slabs just to have something to show others from time to time. There are far worse examples that have gotten even higher grades. NGC has even slabbed/graded Civil War exonumia that was stamped "COPY". On the other hand, I know collectors that have submitted coins direct from Mint packaging, and had them body bagged for cleaning. Go figure.:goofer:
