I think harshly cleaned and in between vf 35/xf 40 details. I agree with the cleaned dug coin as the fields look scrubbed with a wire brush
I don’t believe this coin is a fake. Here’s a fake no-motto seated half I own. The dies for these were computer-generated and probably carved using a CNC mill. That’s actually a clash mark and not a break. Very common on no-motto halves.
I compared it to 4 genuine coins on Coinfacts and there seem to be some common die markers. Not sure if only one die was used for the rather small mintage. Obverse has a die line running from the pole toward the head just below the pinky finger. Reverse has a die crack between D and S. There is a die line running from the left wing vertical into the field. There is also a die line running from the right talon toward the eagles right leg. Also as mentioned the clash marks in the shield appear on all 4 genuine coins.
