1866 3Cent Nickel - Clashed Die error ?

    Hey everyone ! I have this 1866 3 Cent -Nickel and I want to know what you think of the indentations - outside of forehead,below the word "of", neck front and back ? Does this in fact look a Clashed Die error ? Below the coin is the clashed Die superimposed .

    Yes.. It is a Clashed Die.

    Yes it is. The earlier dated 3CNs are notorious for having clashed dies; especially the 1860's.
