    Looks like a reverse impression in front of the face

    Holy clash Batman!
    It wouldn't be a variety because the clash was eventually polished away.
    Die clashes usually arent considered a variety because they wear or and can be polished away. A variety is usually part of each coin from first strike till the final one. There are some exceptions.
