Received my 1865 IHC fancy 5 today the love token one.....have a peek at the date .....inbetween the dentiles....better yet above them below the 6.
And what number would that be that you are seeing is misplaced? All I am seeing is a nice variety Fancy 5.
I think you are straining too much. I do not even see a piece of a number. Then again, were I to strain, I see an S, a 7, and a crooked 1 in that closeup.
