1864 2cp doubling?

    IMG_2401.JPG I was wondering if I have a possible variety here. I see doubling on several letters most notably where the arrows are pointed.

    It's not in cherrypickers but still...

    I see some shelf/mechanical doubling on the T in States but not much else.

    More concerning to me is the verdigris. I would give that thing a bath.

    This appears to be "Longacre Doubling." It has the appearance of doubling, but it isn't real hub doubling. It occured when the letter was punched into the die. It can look cool, but carries no premium.

    Well no intrinsic value. I feel to the right person it may bring a VERY minor premium. Just got to remember that an item is only worth what someone is worth paying!

    It's a nice coin! Turn her over, let's see her other side. I wanta see a small motto!
