What's the reverse look like?

 

There is nothing on the reverse

Well I found this website: http://www.aocurrency.com/LOUISIANA.HTM it does have other parish currency notes, but not of Franklin. Go down to parish notes, near the bottom.

Should give some idea on whats it worth.

 

I contacted the first site and they said that it would grade fine or so and be worth about $300 to $400 retail

So at this port I don't really know what it's worth

 

Just sold it on eBay for $1000

Though I would've gotten it certified before selling it.

 

Try CTL + ALT + Down Key, then CTL + ALT + Up Key to return . Left and Right keys also work for sideways viewing. Works on Windows OS, not sure about Mac.

Ya I would have sent it off to be graded but I thought to myself what if it came in at a lower grade. Also I couldn't pass up the $1000 when I only paied $9.00 at my local coin shop. I guess they didn't know what they had

 

I think $1,000 is a great price. Haven't seen anything like this sell for more than a few hundred, i guess just because someone is asking 12k doesn't mean they will get it.

At least you know you have a good eye for a bargain, keep it up, well done.
