are there any indian cent varieties with a small date? I have an 1862 with a discernible smaller date.
according to Cherrypicker's, the answer is no. There is a Misplaced date (FS-01-1862-301) and a DDR (FS-01-1862-801)
Maybe it shrunk in the laundry. These copper-nickel dates should always be washed in warm water, not hot. Slow spin cycle. Dry on low to medium heat or hang it outside on the clothesline to air dry.
