<p>
I just recently became interested in collecting the different errors/varieties of the 1859 Canada large cent. I am swapping for some on Numista, and the owner sent these photos. I am swapping for the coins regardless of if they are actually an error/variety or not and they are in pretty terrible shape so it wont matter much anyways. There is actually a hole in this coin. <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie96" alt=":vomit:" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /></p><p><br /></p><p>But anyways... Does it look like the the D in "CANADA" below Victoria is doubled? I will take a closer look for myself once I receive the coin but it certainly looks like it. On the coinsandcanada website, its not listed as an error/variety except for the errors/varieties from the community section but that example looks different: <a href="https://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php?coin=1-cent-1859#erreur-31" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="https://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php?coin=1-cent-1859#erreur-31" rel="nofollow">https://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php?coin=1-cent-1859#erreur-31</a></p><p><br /></p><p><a href="https://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php?coin=1-cent-1859" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="https://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php?coin=1-cent-1859" rel="nofollow">https://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php?coin=1-cent-1859</a></p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p>
</p><p><br /></p>
