I can't get a more clear picture of the date, but there is some evidence of doubling in the 5, more so in the 8. There is a die crack (in AMERICA) that starts in the M and goes through the E and R, then exits in the I. The reverse is clocked to about 1 o'clock in comparison to the obverse. I haven't been able to find any information to indicate it is a special variety. Even though someone scratched the heck out of it on both sides<img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie3" alt=":(" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />, it is still decent looking to me.
