Greetings! Apologies up front for low res photos. I can't find this one in any of my sources, but it sure looks like a DDO (date) to me. There is no sign of doubling elsewhere on the obverse. Any thoughts?

At the very least, its a repunched date. Im not sure of the snow number, but im sure someone here would know and also be able to tell if it comes with a ddo or ddr.

    QC appears cleaned.
    It's too pink.

The color is an artifact - the coin itself isn't the least bit pinkish, though it may have been cleaned at some point.

I'm leaning toward strike doubling now because the doubling inside the 8s doesn't duplicate the shape of an 8 - it's a bit too broad inside the loop and oriented differently than the doubling on the outside of the eights, on the right side. I don't see how that would be possible with a repunched date or a DD. Thanks all for your comments.
