    Hello Everyone,

I recently picked this 1858 Flying Eagle Cent. What condition would you rate this? VF20?

    Thanks.

I think maybe y'all are grading a bit conservatively.

For comparison, would you grade my 1857 at VF15? VF20? Maybe VF25?

Thanks zrage. Very close... NGC graded mine VF35.

Agreed, it's difficult to grade from photos. And my aging eyesight doesn't help. Kinda frustrating for me.

Odd wear pattern; must have been a tremendous strike originally. I'm in at VF30, perhaps optimistic by a grade because of the excellent tailfeathers.
