Hello all I am letting everyone know what I found out. First let me say thanks to everyone who responded to my post.
I went to the coin show in Fredricksburg and met Larry Briggs. If you check out the Cherry pickers guid you will see that one of the books is dedicated to him. I belive he is an expert in this area. Getting back to the coin he cheked it out and did say it was not a double die as everyone informed me. He told me that it was chatter. But he did say that the coin is worth around 50 dollar I feel that I learned alot from everyon here and thanks again.

Yes, thank you very much for reporting back on the negative appraisal of a DDO. Many only come for affirmation of their side and feels it is horrible to be wrong, when being wrong is just part of the learning process. Admitting such is a good step in becoming educated on the many aspects of our hobbies. Good progress.

I think he undervalued it. If you sold it on eBay it would fetch $75-$100 in my opinion.

Thanks for reporting back to us. Sorry it didn't turn out to be an overdate or doubled die...still, it's a nice coin.

I am glad you updated the thread, and hope you enjoyed the show. Sometimes you win, and sometimes you lose... this is all a learning process.

Perhaps, but a coin's real world worth and what the same coin may fetch on ebay are not necessarily the same.

If this coin were to be listed on Ebay as MD with good images, 10 different times, it would bring 10 different prices. I would bet the swing in price would be $50 or more.

The MD is bold and some folks love the look. I do.
You never know what a coin will bring on Ebay auctions.
