Deducting some for the surface issues, I'd call this a VG (details) coin, and would agree with the previous respondents that it's essentially a $10-15 coin as-is. The "Slanted 5's" is a fun variety.  I don't believe it carries any particular premium over the 1855 "Upright 5's" variety, but it's interesting because I read somewhere (in the Red book, maybe?) that the slanted 5's were a quirky eccentricity of designer <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Gobrecht" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Gobrecht" rel="nofollow">Christian Gobrecht's</a> work.[/QUOTE]
