Obverse 1 is the thin date variety, and the date numerals are virtually even on the horizontal plane. Obverse 3 is the only other obverse with even date (as opposed to slight downward slop left to right), however on obverse 3, a small spur extends down from the left case of the 1. Also on obverse 1 (thin date), the top of the ball of the base of the 5 is noticeably distant from the bottom point of the vertical upright. On obverse 2,3,4 that gap will be very narrow, almost closed. </p><p><br /></p><p>On my coin, posted below.
