Ditto. Never seen that, but I like it. Apparently somebody had that punch on hand for something else they manufactured (tools, maybe?), and tried it out on a piece of pocket change. Neat c/s.
I've often suspected that many counterstamps were created for other purposes...and stamped on coins at a test. This is one of those times.
From all the names in coins it's obvious that it was a form of advertising but this dime gives meaning to other purposes.
