All I could think of when I saw your posting was OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!</p><p><br /></p><p>I am sure that your grandfather meant well and probably did not realize that Kellog & Company Gold Coins are extremely valuable! The coin appears uncirculated even in the belt buckle. You need to have it removed professionally from the belt buckle, placed in something to protect it and have it sent in for Certification, Authentication and Grading. I assume that it is a $20 Gold Piece!? Do not try to clean or polish the coin whatsoever but I may already be too late for that warning. After a second look, it appears that the Obverse may have been wiped or polished but I hope not!
