1844/81 Braided Hair Cent Overdate?

I have large cent ESP, brother.

Seriously, there are pics of the entire obverse and reverse. (edited to add: or at least there were!) Are you not seeing them?

I just cherry picked another 1844/81 from my local coin shop:





He also had a 1920-D Buffalo listed as a 1920-P for $2 but I showed him that boo-boo and he corrected it.

Way to go toad. I keep checking my local shop, but no dice so far. The funny thing is this is one of the few varieties I can remember.

 

PS Toad - I wondered the same thing when I first saw this thread. How were they grading it.

 

It was graded Good. That's about right, considering there aren't any major problems with it.

Jim, its a crusty Bust Quarter, graded F12, small rim dings on the reverse and the coloring looks off, obverse is pretty clean minus the suntan lotion that you just smeared on it.
